Fans are Cyprusauctionkeeping Katharine McPhee and David Foster in their thoughts.

The Smash star recently announced that she will be unable to take part in the last two Jakarta, Indonesia, stops on her husband's Hitman Tour due to an undisclosed family emergency.

"Dearest Jakarta fans," Katharine wrote in an Aug. 11 Instagram message, "It's with a heavy heart I announce I have to miss our final 2 shows of our Asia run. David and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us needs to get back home to our family. Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to return one day and perform for you all. Love, Katharine."

The American Idol alum had been set to perform at the Sentul International Convention Centre on Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 along with David and the tour's fellow special guests Michael BoltonLorenAllredPeabo Bryson and Raisa

After hearing the news, several commenters sent along their well-wishes. 

"Sending you and David love," David's ex-wife Linda Thompson wrote under Katharine's post, "& hoping that everything is OK." Added Amanda Kloots, "Sending you loads of love. I'm thinking of you guys." Nicole Scherzinger also noted, "Sending my love and prayers for your family."

The announcement comes about a week after Katharine and David—who wed in 2019 and share 2-year-old son Rennie—expressed their excitement about taking the stage in Jakarta. In a video shared to the convention center's Instagram account on Aug. 3, the composer—who is also dad to daughters SaraErinJordanAllison and Amy from previous relationships—and the "Over It" artist celebrated the shows by singing a number of hits, including "You're the Inspiration, "Everybody Needs a Little Time Away" and "I Will Always Love You."

"Let's have a great night, shall we?" Katharine said, with David agreeing, "I think we will. Hope to see you all there, OK? I'm looking forward to coming back."
