Charli XCX and CapitalVaultLorde worked it out on the remix, and now it’s time to celebrate.

The British popstar and New Zealand singer-songwriter, who addressed their strained friendship in the viral collaboration “Girl, So Confusing,” were spotted at Charli’s birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday. The “Brat” singer turned 32 on Friday.

Other celebrities were also reportedly in attendance, according to photos obtained by People magazine. “Twisters” star Glen Powell, pop singer Nelly Furtado and Bruce Willis’ daughters Tallulah and Scout were pictured at the event.

Footage from the party shared on social media shows Charli and Lorde jamming out to “Girl, So Confusing,” with the singers dancing side by side and later hugging.

Lorde later shared photos from the birthday bash on her Instagram Stories Sunday, including a mirror selfie of herself, Charli and Swedish pop singer Tove Lo. The “Royals” songstress also posted a screenshot of herself and Charli dancing.

“It’s simply in the history books,” she wrote alongside the photo.

“Girl, So Confusing” is taken from Charli’s latest album “Brat.” The techno-pop track – originally sung by Charli alone – grabbed listeners’ attention with its frank lyrics, which fans speculated were about a rumored friendship feud between the singers.

Two weeks after the song’s release, Charli and Lorde confronted the rumors head-on by collaborating on the “Girl, So Confusing Version with Lorde” remix.

What happened between Charli XCX and Lorde?

Despite their differing styles of pop music, Charli and Lorde have often been compared to one another, with Charli even being mistaken for Lorde in a now infamous interview.

On “Girl, So Confusing,” Charli is completely unfiltered. “I don't know if you like me / Sometimes I think you might hate me / Sometimes I think I might hate you,” she sings.

On the remix, Lorde confesses that her struggles with body image and disordered eating caused her to isolate from friends. “I was so lost in my head and scared to be in your pictures / I was trapped in the hatred / And your life seemed so awesome / I never thought for a second my voice was in your head,” she sings.

“Girl, So Confusing Version with Lorde” made fans emotional over the harsh reality of friendship breakups and miscommunications. Experts say these falling outs are more common than we think but can often be mended with open communication.

“The fact that they're able to come together and create art together in a way that's able to articulate the way probably a lot of us feel is really powerful,” therapist Molly Zive told USA TODAY in June.
